Susan is an innovative HR leader with a strong track record in managing major transformational change. She has advised executive boards for over 15 years and holds extensive experience in equalities and diversity management.
Susan has designed and managed complex change management and redundancy programmes for public sector organisations saving over £10m. She has also restructured and professionalised six large HR Services resulting in significant savings.
Recently Susan has been the director of a management and HR consultancy. She wrote the Employment and Equalities Workforce report for the whole of the Police Service in England and Wales. She is also an executive coach to HR directors at a number of respected UK organisations.
Susan spent seven years as a Director of HR at a London borough with responsibility for 100 staff and an £8m budget and represented the council on a number of national and pan-London bodies.
Susan joined The HR Lounge as an Associate in Summer 2011.
